Experience Comprehensive, Personalized Care

If you've been to PT before, you probably know the drill: a few minutes with the therapist, then handed off to an aide with a laminated sheet of exercises you could have Googled yourself. You leave feeling like a number — and wondering why nothing is changing.

That's not how this works.

Every session is 50 minutes, one-on-one, with me, Dr. Megan Steele. No aides, no distractions, no one-size-fits-all protocol. Just a thorough, hands-on session built entirely around what your body needs that day.

Because here's the thing: pain isn't just about the spot that hurts. Research in pain neuroscience has shown that pain is processed through sensory, emotional, and neurological systems simultaneously. Which means treating it effectively requires looking at all those systems — not just the loudest one.

That's exactly what we do here

Specialized in the cases that don't fit neatly into a diagnosis box.

Acute injuries are straightforward. Chronic pain, widespread pain, and complex conditions? Those require a different level of thinking.

I specialize in working with people whose pain hasn't responded to standard treatment — and I approach every case like the puzzle it actually is. Each session combines advanced manual therapy, intentional movement work, and education that helps you understand what's happening in your body (and why it's been so hard to shift).

The framework is integrative: drawing from modern pain science, osteopathic medicine, and nervous system regulation. The experience is personal: a practitioner who listens, adapts, and stays curious until we find what works for you.

Care that fits your life — not the other way around.

No two people experience pain the same way, and no two treatment plans look identical here. Before we develop your plan, I want to understand your goals, your history, your lifestyle, and what you've already tried. That context matters. A lot.

And because getting to a clinic isn't always easy — especially when you're in pain — I also offer in-home sessions throughout West Los Angeles. Same doctoral-level care, same hands-on approach, in the comfort and privacy of your own space. For many of my clients, this isn't just a convenience. It's what makes consistent care actually possible.

All sessions are fully HIPAA-compliant and confidential.

Sound familiar? You might be in the right place.

You've been dealing with pain that doesn't have a clear explanation — or one that comes and goes, spreads around, or flares up in ways that don't make sense.

You've tried things. Maybe a lot of things. Some helped a little. Nothing stuck.

You're not looking for someone to hand you a sheet of exercises. You want someone who will actually dig in — figure out what's driving it, treat the whole picture, and work with you until something actually changes.

That's exactly who I work with. Some of the most common conditions I treat:

  • Chronic and widespread pain (including fibromyalgia and myofascial pain)

  • Back, neck, and spine conditions

  • Hip, knee, shoulder, and joint pain

  • Headaches and migraines

  • Sciatica and nerve pain

  • Post-surgical rehabilitation

  • Pelvic pain and urinary incontinence

  • Sports injuries and overuse conditions

  • Pelvic pain and pelvic floor dysfunction

  • Conditions related to functional neurologic disorders, post-concussion, and autoimmune disorders

Ready to actually figure this out?

The first step is a 15-minute consult call — a chance for us to talk through what's going on, what you've tried, and whether we're a good fit. No pressure, no commitment. Just a real conversation with someone who takes this stuff seriously.
